My name is Barry Jansen. I work with some autism things we do here at Google. So if you're interested in getting involved with the autism work at Google, please see me afterwards. John Elder Robison has been a friend of a couple of us that have worked with autism at Google, and a friend of Google in general, He's given us some incredible feedback, and he has an incredibly diverse background. I don't know if any of you are old enough to remember the band KISS, but John designed all their special effects guitars, starting off early in his career, as he began to work with electronics.
Then, as he puts it, he went legit, and I was looking up some of the games, whether I'd played them or not. He worked on electronic toys at Milton Bradley worked on Super Simon big track, Microvision, Milton Dark Tower and others. And then he went on went on to work with lightning suppression and surge suppression for our nation's last nuclear underground testing events in Nevada. So he's had a very, very diverse engineering background, certainly. And then he got into fixing cars. He has his own garage, which still works.
