Hello, my name is Dr. Christiana Wolf, and I want to talk about the difference between formal and informal meditation or mindfulness practice.


So formal practice we call every practice where you really take the time to do nothing but this particular practice, or meditation at that moment. So that could be when you do, like a five minute breathing meditation. It could be when you do the body scan, when you do formal walking meditation. So that would be formal meditation.
